Installation Tips for Under-the-sink Water Purifiers:

1. The basic installation of an under-the-sink water purifier takes approximately 30 minutes or more.

2. Basic installation includes drilling a hole (28 mm in diameter) in a specific countertop.

- No additional installation fee is required if the countertop is made of a specific material such as plastic, stainless steel, or artificial stone.

- If the countertop is made of a fragile material such as ceramic, crystal, or glass, please have a third party pre-arrange for drilling holes in the countertop.

- An additional fee will be charged if the countertop is made of materials such as natural marble, quartz, or granite, and the thickness is assessed by the installer as suitable for installation.

3. The water filtration system must be installed within one meter of the water inlet.

4. If an RO under-the-sink water filtration system is installed, the space under the sink must be equipped with a power outlet to power the product and a drain pipe to dispose of wastewater.

Site visit fee (applicable to the purchase of RO under-sink water filtration systems, refundable within six months after installation): HKD 180

Outlying islands or remote areas (e.g., Cheung Chau, Lamma Island, Lantau Island, Ma Wan, Discovery Bay, etc.): HKD 300

Philips Under-the-sink (UTS) Water Purifier System - Installation Note to Customer

*Our representative will contact customer via WhatsApp or phone call within the next working day after purchase for requesting the site photographs and details of the installation site for suitability assessment. Once confirmed feasible, installation date will be scheduled, generally within 7 to 10 working days from the confirmation.


If suitability for installation cannot be determined via photos, an on-site inspection service is recommended. If the installation is deemed unviable following the assessment, the technician will collect a cash inspection fee of HK$180 on the spot (this fee is waived if the installation is confirmed viable). No returns or exchanges will be accepted once the product has been dispatched if installation cannot be completed.
